Pastel board- first draft

This is my first draft of my pastel mood board. I don't think that it works very well, the dark pastels look almost washed out, compared to the vibrant pastels at the bottom. I think I need to go back to the drawing board, and look for some inspiration!!! I like the colours at the bottom, so I may use them in my final board, i also like the pictures at the bottom. its almost like the two sections of the board should be separate, like young for the bottom and the more mature woman at the top. but this isn't the kind of board that i want to create.
